Cerro Castillo, with its 2,675 meters high it is the highest mountain in the area. A mountain with a lot of history, offers a technical climb that will take us to enjoy a unique view from its summit. You can see the great mountains of the ice field as well as many rivers and lakes in the Aysén region. We offer to guide you in the normal route or along the south face in a more technical adventure.

- 5 days with IFMGA-UIAGM guides.
- All transport from Balmaceda airport.

- Insurance.
- Personal climbing equipment.

1) Location and travel:
- Your trip starts and ends in Cerro Castillo village. The most convenient place to arrive in the area, just 45 minutes driving from Balmaceda's airport.
- All the transport since the client arrives at Balmaceda airport is included.



2) Terrain:

- The terrain in Patagonia is unique. With easy access you can find many peaks to practice alpine climbing in a unique natural environment. This mountain involves an interesting alpine climbing itinerary with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. The fact that there are no more people makes the experience even more special.

- We offer to guide you in the Normal Route or along the South Face in a more technical adventure.



3) Conditions/Weather:
- The Season starts in September until April.



4) Fitness and  Experience:
- Alpine climbing requires good levels of fitness.
- We will start with a first warm up day to know the customer's level.



5) Guiding Team:
- All our packages are staffed by local IFMGA-UIAGM certified guides working at a maximum ratio of 1 guide with 2 clients.
